Peer Support Services
Support from someone who has been there — and made it through.
What this program is — and who it's for
Peer Support pairs individuals in recovery with Certified Peer Recovery Specialists who have lived experience of mental illness, substance use, or both. It is the part of care that says, plainly: this is survivable, and here is someone who survived it.
Peers meet clients in the community — at home, at a coffee shop, at a meeting — and walk alongside them through the ordinary and difficult parts of recovery: getting to appointments, navigating benefits, rebuilding routine, staying connected on the hard days.
Peer support is not clinical treatment and never replaces it. It complements therapy and medication with something clinical care can't manufacture: credible hope.
